Boring – that’s what some people usually think when they see blank walls. Playing it safe with plain walls is OK, but a touch of color can take your wall from drab to fabulous.

You don’t have to be a real decorator - just sprinkle some of these fun, inexpensive, and nifty DIY projects to your wall!

Wallpapers can definitely create an accent and give character to any room. One creative use of a wallpaper is to frame it. You can frame a wallpaper sample; display it on your wall and ta-da – art! There are so many fashionable and inexpensive wallpapers to choose from, just visit your local store and shop for wallpaper rolls that are on sale. Even better – when you sell your house you won’t have buyers complain about wallpaper on the wall!

Be a little daring, artistic, and fun to turn your wall into a canvas. It doesn’t have to cost you a month’s paycheck to have an absolutely stunning wall!

You might want to keep future work in mind as well. For example, if you turned an entire wall into a shrine to Justin Bieber, one day when you want to sell – I’m going to request you make that shrine a wall again. In neutral colors no less. Belieb it. :)
