You might think that fancy fire pits are all the rage in a new trend but in fact, they’ve been around for a long, long time.  Cavemen used to gather around fires in prehistoric times!

Fire pits provide a place for social gatherings and conversations, and keeps you warm on a cool night. They are a great addition to your outdoor living space plus they provide the perfect ambiance for summer and fall nights. However, safety is still the utmost concern.  Here’s a few tips to make sure you only roast your marshmallows, not your home!

Your fire pit should be at least 10 feet away from your house, trees, and anything flammable. Find the right spot and put it on a level stone, concrete, or brick surface.
